PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale Coming This November
Fighting games enthusiasts all over the world are anxiously waiting for the heavily Smash Brothers inspired PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale game. Speaking of unique, this is the first game that will allow characters from different brands and franchises to battle it out on the same screen. It is also available on the PlayStation Vita which uses the cross play aspects of the games that lets PS3 and Vita players battle it out against each other. This crossover fighting game is currently under development by SuperBot Entertainment and will be published for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3.
PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale Characters:
PlayStation All Stars currently has 20 playable characters coming from games that have appeared on the Sony consoles throughout the years. These characters are some of the more recent ones that you will recognize such as Cole MacGrath from Infamous and Sackboy from Little Big Planet. Older characters are available as well including Parappa The Rapper and Spike from Ape Escape. If you really want a veteran in the fighting game saga you can even select Heihachi from the Tekken franchise or go for a more serious trouble maker of Twisted Metal series, Sweet Tooth. Several other characters are still to be announced and you can expect a wide variety of characters to choose from in the game.
The game focuses on a unique form of combat and each character uses different strategies with the way they fight. They even have special moves which you can use once a special meter reaches a certain level. Character’s special move has three different levels with level one as being the weakest attach and level three as the strongest. Some characters work well with melee combat but aren’t so great with long distance while other characters work in a completely different way. PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale lets you play up to four players and battle it out against each other. You can even play with some of the coolest characters from other Sony games like Sly Cooper, Kratos, Fat Princess and a lot more. Arenas or stages are also inspired by different video games, which often use two themes in one arena. Developers have confirmed that there will be at least fourteen stages and twenty items that players can use in the game. These items are borrowed from other PlayStation hits as well, including a Hedgehog Grenade taken from Resistance and Razor Claws that were used in Ratchet & Clank.
